Vegesentials is the first UK Smoothie or Juice Brand to ever receive an award from the International Taste & Quality Institute (iQTi) which was founded 10 years ago. 120 chefs and sommeliers across Europe (including Alan Coxon, Co-Founder) blind test thousands of products from across the world. The Vegesentials Drinks have been awarded two International Gold Star Awards for ‘Remarkable Superior Taste’ from the Michelin quality standards Jury of iQTi. Following in the footsteps of other successful FMCG brands such as Alpro Soya and Del Monte who have been commended in the past, the global awards recognise the quality offering and great taste which Vegesentials is bringing to consumers worldwide.
The Carrot, Mango & Parsnip Smoothie and Beetroot, Pomegranate & Carrot Juice both scored outstanding marks and were each awarded two gold stars from the International Taste and Quality Institute (iTQi) jury. The drinks were assessed and scored very highly across five categories; First Impression, Vision, Olfaction, Taste and Retro-Olfaction.
